SWEET ADELINES, INTERNATIONAL
Sweet Adelines International is a singing organization of over 33,000 women in 50 states and several foreign countries (all sung in English). The organization is dedicated to teaching and practicing four part barbershop harmony, in order to bring musical enjoyment to themselves and their audiences. They began in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1945 and are still headquartered there. The states and foreign countries are divided into Regions. Each Region is made up of choruses (15 members +) and quartets (4 members only)and hold a contest annually to judge which quartet(s) and chorus(s) will go on to compete at International Competition each year. Members of Sweet Adelines are from all walks of life and many ethnic backgrounds. They are joined by a mutual love of harmonizing together. Within the supportive structure of her chorus, a member will find the strength, courage and joy of participating in and contributing to a beautiful tuneful presentation, loved and appreciated by audiences everywhere. |

| The residents of Eagle Crest enjoyed a twenty minute performance dedicated especially to the grandmother of Kim, our lead. |
|
| Not only was Kim's grandmother surprised, but she enjoyed singing along on many of the songs. |
